The Seminar on Digital Governance for Government Executives was conducted on November 16–17, 2023 at OD Corpuz Hall, DAP Building, Pasig City. The event marked a pivotal moment for 67 Senior Executives Class (SEC) alumni and scholars who were equally eager to explore the ever-evolving landscape of digital governance.

The seminar commenced with a warm welcome from Atty. Engelbert C. Caronan Jr., President and CEO of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), setting the stage for an enriching journey into the realm of digital governance. Director Kiyoung Ko from the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development- Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (APCICT-ESCAP) followed with his opening remarks, providing valuable context and insights for the participants and setting the tone for the intellectual exploration that awaited them. The APCICT-ESCAP’s mission is to build and strengthen the capacity of the members and associate members of ESCAP to leverage information and communication technology (ICT) for the purpose of socio-economic development.

Day 2 Session with Atty. Juan Paolo F. Fajardo on Data Privacy in Digital Governance
For the last session of the seminar, Atty. Juan Paolo F. Fajardo took the stage to share his expertise on data privacy. His session echoed the sentiments of Day 1, further reinforcing the importance of navigating the digital landscape with a keen awareness of privacy considerations for effective governance.
