The Public Management Development Program (PMDP) Alumni Club (AC) members convened on 2 August 2024, at the OD Corpuz Hall 1, DAP Pasig City, under the leadership of President Judge Roselyn A. Borja of Senior Executives Class (SEC) Batch 1 – Molave. The meeting was a significant step-forward, focusing on strengthening the alumni community and enhancing member engagement.

The agenda was filled with discussions aimed at enhancing the alumni network. A major focus was on formalizing the club’s structure, ensuring that membership remains active and engaged. Judge Borja emphasized the importance of updating class directories and establishing a batch-based system for collecting annual dues. This approach is expected to streamline processes and encourage greater participation across all batches.
Another highlight of the meeting was the preparation for the upcoming PMDP Alumni Recognition Program, scheduled for August 2025. The program, a cornerstone event for the alumni, will continue to celebrate outstanding contributions within the community. The introduction of a class-based nomination process aims to increase participation and ensure that the awards maintain their prestige and honor.
Additionally, the theme for the next recognition event will focus on Digitalization and Cybersecurity, reflecting the evolving landscape of public management and the club’s commitment to staying ahead of these developments. The club also discussed integrating capacity-building activities into the recognition program, further solidifying its role as a key player in the advancement of public management in the Philippines.

The meeting concluded with an open forum, providing members an opportunity to share their insights and suggestions, further demonstrating the club’s commitment to fostering a strong and supportive community. Among the PMDP-AC officers in attendance were Treasurer and Middle Managers Class (MMC) Batch 14-Anluwage President Atty. Jayvee Villagracia, Board Member and MMC Batch 11-Bagwis President Fe Dela Cruz, and Committee on Recognition of Outstanding PMDP Alumni Member and SEC Batch 2-Agila President Dr. Maria Celia J. Fernandez.
