Excited for what is ahead, the Middle Managers Class Batch 12 – Banyuhay composed of 39 scholars from various government agencies in the country, celebrated the last day of their Residential Training in DAP Tagaytay last September 23, 2016.
The activity with the theme “Christmas in September” was attended by DAP President Antonio D. Kalaw, Jr., Senior Vice-President for Programs Magdalena L. Mendoza, Senior Fellow Arsenia S. Gavero, PMDP Director Nanette C. Caparros, MMC 12 Session Director Elizabeth Tungol and the rest of PMDP team.
Addressing the scholars who are bound to return to their respective agencies, Pres. Kalaw told said, “As you go back to your respective agencies, we will always keep the hope that whatever you have learned from your mentors and from your colleagues will be re-echoed to other people outside the DAP. You are now armed with more knowledge and ideas, so now, you have the responsibility to share it, apply it, and work for it to achieve not just your own goals, but also that of your agency.”
“Keep on learning. Keep on striving. Keep on innovating.”, Pres. Kalaw added.
On the other hand, Senior Vice-President Magdalena L. Mendoza advised the Banyuhay scholars that it is not the leadership position or title that counts, but the leadership skills that one has.
The Middle Managers Class Batch 12 – Banyuhay Closing Ceremony offered a perfect festive treat to everyone. An evening of games, dancing, singing, and socials wrapped up the night.
The PMDP is now accepting nominations for Middle Managers Class Batch 14 and 15 opening on February 17, 2017 and April 28, 2017, respectively.
